Upload the folder to your hosted server, or add it to your local server. Rename the map folder to world, the most common name used by servers to recognize the folder as a world. Place the map folder inside the saves folder, which contains all your worlds. Press CTRL + H to toggle the hidden status of files. Should you experience problems finding certain files or folders, they may be hidden. On Linux, you need to navigate to the ~/.minecraft directory. Now, the Minecraft folder minecraft is opened. Now type in ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft and press Enter. Either do that by pressing Command + Space, or by clicking on the magnifying glass icon in the right of the menu bar. On MacOS, you need to open Spotlight first. Inside, open the saves folder, which contains all your worlds. The Windows explorer will open, so click on the. A window will open, and you need to enter %appdata% in the text field.
